The case for DDR4
Why Not DDR5
DDR5 kits still cost $80–120 for 16GB. Used DDR4 is $40 for the same capacity — two matched
8GB sticks from a reputable seller, dual channel, done. That $40–80 delta is a better GPU,
more storage, or money back in your pocket. Both B660M and B760M support DDR4.

you see searching "B760M LGA1700" is DDR5. Filter explicitly for DDR4 or you'll end up

B760M DDR4 used supply on eBay is thin — most listings are DDR5. New B760M DDR4 on
